Eventually, Annabel decided to take matters into her own hands and asked Mitchell if he wanted to be her boyfriend. Mitchell initially said he wasn’t quite ready for a relationship. But Annabel has always known what she wants, and with a little persuasion, Mitchell came around!
Nine years later, it’s safe to say they both made the right decision!
Over Thanksgiving weekend in 2024, Mitchell popped the question near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., beginning the next chapter of their love story.
Now, after nine years of friendship, laughter, love, and a little persistence, they can’t wait to say “I do!”
They are so excited to celebrate this special day with all of you!
Annabel and Mitchell’s story began nine years ago at Options, a school program in Carbondale, Illinois. It was the beginning of the school year, and everyone was busy making new friends. During a school-sponsored outing, one of Annabel’s friends suggested that she and Mitchell would make a great couple. They both insisted they were “just friends.” Little did they know, their friend might have been onto something!
As they spent more time together, Annabel began to see Mitchell as more than just a friend. She was drawn to his infectious smile, wonderful laugh, and kind, considerate nature. Mitchell, meanwhile, admired Annabel’s confidence, caring heart, and outgoing personality.
